We had a beautiful Easter.

It turned out so wonderful and the girls had so much fun. Sadly Corey was on call all weekend and got called out so we were on our own part of the day. But luckily he got called out really early so he was able to make Easter lunch and visit with the family.

 

Our Easters typically consist of the same things:

Baskets and egg hunt to start off the morning

Church

Lunch at Grandma Doris'

(lunch is always so yummy! Ham and potaoes and all the fixins)

Followed by the kiddo's finding eggs and then hiding them over and over again.

At least 2 or 3 have meltdowns during the hunt.

And lots of visiting!

The kids colored eggs while we waited to go to grandmas.

We love Easter!

I am loving that Kaiya is starting to understand the real reason we celebrate Easter. She loved going to church and learning about what Christ did for us.
