Man have the last three months just flown by! My heart hurts that I have not done better at journaling the last three months of Ms. Oaklyn's life. Oaklyn has grown so much and is such a blessing to our family. Her sweet spirit and perfect smiles seriously make my days. Crazy how complete our little family feels now that she is here.
She has really found her voice the past couple weeks and makes noise all day long.
When she tries to laugh she coughs.
Funniest thing EVER.
If she isn't crying she is all smiles.
She is kind of on the needy side and loves to be held.
She is sleeping great at night usually going to bed at 8 or 9 and waking at 2 or 3 and then again around 6.
She isn't the best at long naps but is the best little cat napper around.
Although she will sleep a solid 2 or 3 hours in my wrap.
So far she loves the Happy wrap.
Excited that she is getting bigger and will fit more comfortably in my Ergo.
She is now in a size 2 diaper and 3-6 months clothes.
She can still fit in 0-3 in some outfits but is slowly growin out.
She can also use size 1 diapers but they are getting a little snug.
At her two month apt she weighted in at 12.7 pounds and was 23 inches long.
About 75th percentile for both.
She is our rolly polly chunker.
I love it.
She is so unbelievably STRONG.
Loves to stand on those legs and has been for a long time now.
She also has great control of her head and loves tummy time.
(most of the time)
That is one of the first thing people usually comment on is her strength.
If you lay her on her tummy with out something on her sides she will most definitely roll to her back.
She loves her sisters to talk to her.
But would rather they not hold her.
She has to be in just the right mood for them to hold her without her squawking.
She is LOUD.
When she cries she means business.
She isn't a lover of her carseat either.
If we are in the car moving she does okay but in a shopping cart and such it is a no go.
Constantly eating her hands!
