We decided to head to Abq a few weeks before Oaklyn was due to come for a little last getaway before we became a family of 5.
It was so much fun and I am so happy we did this. We headed to the zoo first and after a few hours there we hit up the aquarium and the gardens.
The polar bear was one of our very favorites!

We spent a lot of time watching the monkeys. They are so funny to watch and were pretty active when we were there.

The kids had a blast in the children's park area of the gardens. It as a great place to finish up our outing!
After hours of walking my feet and hips were KILLING me!
But we still wanted to hit up a furniture store so off we went and after walking through that this mama was done. We went to find us a room and figure out dinner.
We had a delicious dinner at Bucca to finish off our evening and after playing the balloon game in the motel room we were out!
It was so wonderful spending this time with just our little family. The kids LOVED the zoo and always think it is cool to stay at a motel. Glad we had the time together before our world was about to change.
