A Very MeRRy ChRiStMaS!

Christmas was great.
So perfect.
Holidays with babies make every holiday that much sweeter.
We celebrated ALL week long. Corey's Aunt came in the saturday the 17th and his sister got in on the 20th so we had plenty of people to have fun with! Kaiya had a blast with all of her cousins. I hardly even saw her. Us ladies did lots of last minute shopping and eating. We did a baking day one day and pumped out some cinnamon rolls and tamales! YUMMY! It is always so much fun being surrounded by family.

Now for Christmas day! Well first off Christmas Eve we had a big feast of red chili, beans, homemade tortillas and tamales! Needless to say it was delish. Then the girls opened there jammies and we headed to Ron's for a quick hello before we headed home. Kaiya was so excited she could hardly contain herself. She had a hard time falling asleep but she finally did and Corey and I finished up our last touches.

Christmas morning we were up a little before 7 and the festivities began! Kaiya was so excited that Santa listened and got her a bike! Rikki was even having fun and playing with her drums that Santa brought!

The brand of this drum is B they are our favorite! I such cute toys and is all about Being YOU! And Rikki loved it!

Kaiya had to try out her new bike of coarse

After we finished up at our house we got ready and headed to Rick and Monica's. We just hung out and let the kids play and open a few gifts while we waited on Sierra and Kaila to get there for dinner! After din din we finished gifts and did our adult gift exchange. Then we had a big event. John proposed to Sierra and of coarse she said YES!

 Our Family!

Christmas was PERFECT.
Time with family is priceless, to us that is what is important on Christmas. Not the gifts or the hype but family.
We really tried to teach Kaiya about what Christmas is all about but I think we confused her slightly. She liked talking about baby Jesus but didn't get that that is what Christmas is about. We will still work on it.
I missed my family terribly and wish that I could have seen them also. We also didn't get to see Corey's Momma which is hard. Holidays are always a little bittersweet. Not being able to see ALL our family is always hard.

I hope everyone had a very
..Merry Christmas..

Now time to put all the decorations away until next year....
